    The citizens were told the cannabis taxes would eventually eliminate the special tax . We know the industry is having difficulty getting up and running . If the city doesn’t show due diligence in allowing the industry to flourish and taxes to be collected , any kind of new special tax will surely fail when asked for . Please allow more businesses to open so new tax revenue can be collected , and the unpopular special tax can be eliminated once and for all .
