Why is it that the council wants to disregard recording the closed session meetings; the recordings are for reference in case someone on council or a new member of the council gets voted into office. That way, they can review the recordings and make future decisions, correct any mistakes or clarify what happened at the meeting. Isn't this going against the Brown Act, even if the resolution is voted on? I thought the city council had to run the meeting according to the Brown Act.
