NB 2. Adding a second Public Comment section to the City Council Agenda – by Acting City Manager, Inge Elmes Recommendation o Staff recommends that the City Council provide direction to staff to work up any necessary changes; or o Should the City Council seek to add a second public comment section to the Agenda, to pass a motion adjusting the Agenda to add a second public comment section to the Agenda before AB 1234, starting on a certain date (i.e., the next council meeting, etc.).

    In my opinion, I really don't think that there's a need for a second Public Comment section; council should listen to the public in the first comment section rather than adding a second section. Thank you.

    Why add a 2nd public comment, not aware of other cities that do this and you don’t listen to the public anyway!. If you had not changed the meeting times, residents would be available to comment when they had done so previously. The residents who can't make it have the option to post on Granicus. Also, if a person talked during the 1st public comment, they should not be commenting again. So who is going to keep track of that as there are a few folks that love to hear themselves talk!
