    I have a few questions for the council. Do you prohibit liquor stores in this town? No, Do you prohibit churches in this town, no. Then why would you ever discriminate against a business that wants to bring jobs and tax revenue to this city? How does one person own both cannabis dispensaries in Cal City? One can't help but ask themselves if Ron smith is taking bribes and covering up the fact that there is one owner of both dispensaries in town, yet he fights so hard to keep others out.

    Council member Creighton has brought up the subject of the delivery only permits multiple times starting when he was first elected two and a half years ago and nothing is ever done about it . This is a huge loss in revenue to the city . Council member Smith has thrown up road blocks to this revenue . It’s time to start collecting the money we were promised that would cover the special tax . It’s was already voted on to clear the field of unused permits so others could apply back in Feb. 2021 .
