There should be no 'Pause'. There is a process in place to approve new businesses, called the muni code and it also covers odor control. For enforcement to collect taxes, a company was recently approved to get their hands around those taxes. If you wait on staff to come up with a procedure w/NO timeline, this will never happen in a timely manner as there are too many critical issues but I guess that is what this pause is hoping to do!

This is not the first time Ron has wanted to put a pause on cannabis. He also wanted one in 2020 right after Attil farms got a development agreement that Ron voted no on . Cannabis is suppose to cover our special tax and Ron keeps throwing up road blocks .
