Discussion Item on Implementation of a Cannabis Tax Reduction Incentive for Large Cannabis Projects, Addition of a Microbusiness Permit to the City Code, and Zoning of a New Area for Cannabis Businesses – Deputy City Attorney Russ Hildebrand Recommendation As it is the obligation of the City Attorney to draft all City ordinances, they have indicated an ability to proceed on these matters expeditiously. An ordinance amendment related to the cannabis tax would come back directly to the City Council. The other ordinance amendments related to microbusiness permits and rezoning in the Silver Saddle Ranch area would be presented to the Planning Commission first for their review and recommendations to the City Council.
