A pause in new cannabis is exactly what is needed. This is not stopping any current cannabis businesses in the queue; only pausing any new incoming for a short 6 months for the city to reorganize. The city has buried themselves in cannabis businesses and needs to get a grip before moving forward. With COVID shutdowns, and lack of qualified people entering the workforce, the city has been struggling to process, audit, and compliance check any of the current cannabis businesses.
Why on earth would this be brought forward ? This city is on a time crunch when it comes to our special tax and the cannabis industry is suppose to get us off it . If this is allowed it will be a set back for our city . The city needs to clean house and hire people capable of doing their jobs . This town has been held back far to long . 2 years of a do nothing council has ruined this town , that’s why they were voted out . Move the city forward for the good of the citizens that live here .
