CB1: Top Ten Main Line Replacement or New Water Main Line Projects – Director Barragan
Recommendation: Council discus and authorize the City Manager to approve BHT’s Task Orders for any or all of the nine water projects.
Good afternoon. Upon my inquiries of what it cost to register an unaltered Dog in Cal City, I am told it is $95.00. Initiated some research and found that other towns, counties, charge $60.00; Victorville $26.20 Consulted with my fellow citizens. We all believe, that not only is $95.00 outrageous, but completely counter productive. Coming out of COVID, Unemployment, lost businesses, people will not be able to afford this.Spay/Neuter itself is expensive. Recommend $50.00. Fair and reasonable.
Agree, there are enough funds in the water fund account for exactly this. The worst water lines need to be replaced now, why continue to procrastinate. Money in this fund is continually replenished from water bills.
